The Digital Homework Planner (DHP) is the digital planner system owned by Boomerang Education. This policy sets out the rules according to which any personal data collected from you or provided to us, will be processed.
By using the DHP, you are agreeing to this policy, which is considered part of the DHP terms of use.

- While using the DHP, we may collect and use data about you, for example: written correspondence may be recorded; your records of logging into DHP; the device you are using to log in to DHP; any information that you have provided to us (by email or through our website).
- We will only store this information for as long as is necessary, in order to deal with any issues that arise when using the DHP or otherwise.

- This information may include data such as your IP address, browser type, browser version, operating system, the pages you visit, and the times and dates you were logged in. This is statistical information about general usage of the DHP, and does not identify any individual.
Cookies:
- We use cookies to identify different users. Cookies are sent to your browser and stored on your computer’s hard drive. This helps us to maximise your experience with the DHP and to improve where possible.
- You can disable cookies by changing your browser settings. However, this could mean that certain parts of DHP may not be available or perform properly.
Data and security:
- Your information, including but not limited to; name, email address, profile picture and passwords are stored on secure servers in encrypted form. We do not disclose any of this information to anyone (unless legally obliged to do so).

Password:
- When you first log in to the DHP, you are provided with a password. This password can be changed at any time using your account, contacting your school admin user or contacting Boomerang Support.
- When choosing your password, it is important to choose a strong password that is not easy for a computer or someone who knows you well to guess. Adding special characters such as @, ?, !, $ can help make your password harder to guess – but also harder to remember.
