What:

  • European Youth Parliament United Kingdom (EYPUK) is a national charity organisation open to young people aged 11-24.
  • European Youth Parliament (EYP) is the umbrella organisation which aims to inspire and empower young Europeans to become open-minded, tolerant and active citizens.
  • It’s an educational programme that brings young people from all over Europe together to discuss current affairs in a parliamentary setting.
  • Since 1987, the European Youth Parliament has supported the development of young people into politically aware and responsible citizens by involving them in European political thinking and promoting intercultural understanding.
  • There is a wide range of possibilities to get active in EYP. The easiest way to get involved is to contact the EYP National Committee in your country. To find out where EYP is active in your area, check out the EYP Network Map.
  • EYPUK runs three different annual event programmes: EurVoiceRegional Sessions and National Sessions.
